My name is Suan H.Booiman whom started all this work of the family trees, The Wilsum
and the Diever, plus my wife's family Beekman and that of my mother Mentjox. Welcome to the FOUR family trees. All together they carry some 1717 individuals. (as of today's date, April 24, 2006) Booimann family in Germany, recently did send and e.mail from which it was learned that they have decided to keep the farm and open it as a pension for tourists. Would like to recognize Mrs.A.C.Booiman and Mr.W.Booiman for their assistance in the development of the Diever tree. To this point there is no way to combine the trees because of the burning down of a church in Wilsum in 1725 and names were lost. Mr.Robert Roodenburg for his help with the Mentjox Tree and without any doubt also the volunteers at Genlias NL for all the names and dates. In the research it was discovered that with Albert Hendrik Booiman in 1817 the last name was also recorded as Baaiman, today there are still families carrying that name, people with those names have the same dates of birth, spouses and so on, in the beginning. Much of that had to do by the Napoleon order, around 1811, that everyone in Western Europe had to have a last name. Failing to be able to write many recordings were done by the sound of the name.
